The Weber River Parkway (WRP) is a 12-mile non-motorized trail along the Weber River in Weber County. This trail is part of the Centennial Trail, a planned 27-mile loop around Ogden that also includes the Ogden River Parkway and the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.
To date, over 5 miles of the WRP have been completed. Going upstream along the Weber River from its confluence with the Ogden River, approximately 2.5 miles of the parkway have been completed from the confluence of the Weber and Ogden Rivers in West Haven, south to Fort Buenaventura. In addition, approximately 2.5 miles have been completed in Riverdale. |
Plans are underway and funding has been secured to complete the one-mile section between Fort Buenaventura and the Parker Drive Trailhead. This is a joint project between Weber Pathways and Ogden City, with funding from Weber Countys RAMP. In addition, funding has been secured and plans are underway to complete the last mile of the WRP in Riverdale. This project is a joint effort between Weber Pathways and Riverdale City. Weber Countys RAMP also supplied the major funding for this portion of the trail. |
Weber Pathways is working with our partners to complete the final 6 miles between Riverdale and the mouth of Weber Canyon, where the Parkway will join the Bonneville Shoreline Trail. Our partners include the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources (UDWR), Weber County, Uintah, South Weber, and Davis County. |
