Weber Pathways promotes our trails to youth and families through our Take A Hike! program, where we organize and lead hikes for youth groups. We also present our trail education program designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students.

There have been several new programs implemented in local high schools. Weber Pathways has been working with faculty at Ben Lomond High School to establish an Outdoors Club. In this club, students have an opportunity to explore the outdoors with their peers through after-school outings.

Weber Pathways has also been working with members of the Rotary Club of Ogden to establish an Environmental “Service above Self” Scholarship to local High School Seniors to help pay for college. The scholarship application will be available in Spring 2009. Sophomores and Jniors are encouraged to start preparing for the scholarship application by participating in Weber Pathways’ volunteer projects and other activities related to the outdoors.
